Abstract

The school evironment significantly influences the socialization process of children. Specifically, researchers are interested in how students perceive happiness through various theories and frameworks: subjective happiness theory, ecosystem theory, positive psychology theory, self-determination theory, and the children's rights approach. Each of these theories and frameworks possesses unique characteristics and applications which are utilized according to the context of the research. Notably, foundational theories such as subjective happiness theory, ecosystem theory, and the children's rights approach can provide valuable insights into research on students' happiness and help create a model for a joyful school environment in Vietnam.
