Abstract

Tho Son Relic (in the territory of the new Dong Nai province, the former Binh Phuoc area) is an important archaeological site of the Metal Age in the Southeast, discovered in 2020 and excavated in 2023. The research results show that this is a residential site combined with a highly specialised stone jewellery factory. The presence of bracelets from factory sites such as Tho Son at residential and burial sites hundreds of kilometres apart suggests that these sites were not just single factories, but formed an intra-regional exchange network of prehistoric residents of the Southeast.
