URBANIZATION AND THE MODEL OF BINH DUONG URBAN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Using secondary data sources along with observations of the reality of urbanization in Binh Duong province, the article focuses on the analysis and comparison of urbanization process through urbanization indicators; the shift of economic structure, labor and income of Binh Duong residents in recent years. On that basis, the article suggests the model of urban sustainable development for Binh Duong based on the combination between compact, cluster, and satellite cities.
