EFFICIENCY OF THE VIETNAMESE - FRENCH HIGH QUALITY ENGINEER FORMATION – FROM THE SCHOOL’S VIEW TO PRACTIC
Keywords:
High-quality engineer training, high-quality human resource, Vietnamese - French Training ProgrammeAbstract
The High-Quality Engineer Training is seen as a typical programme following the educational model in France particularly and Europe generally. Based on the case study, we have realised that a positive aspect brought by the programme is to build trust among the enrolled students. They have high expectations from the programme for their future participation in the labour market. During the process of innovation and enhancement of the training quality for Vietnamese - French engineers, non-technical knowledge has been added to the training programme so as to equip the future engineers with necessary understanding of socio-cultural values as well as skills in managing specific projects in practice; they are essential soft skills for graduated engineers that we still lack in Vietnam. The information collected from both existing enrolled students and graduated ones shows that they are capable to adapt themselves to the current severe production environment. Thus, we can find that the Vietnamese - French Training Programme has initially satisfied the need of high-quality human resources for production in our country.
