Abstract

The article introduces the development and application of minimal pairs in integration with utterance and discourse to conduct the therapy for seven children from 3 to 12 years old with repaired cleft lip and palate in Ho Chi Minh City. Speech therapy was conducted from September 2012 to April 2015 and proved the accuracy of the hypothesis: the effectiveness of therapy for children with cleft lip and palate will be improved considerably, if minimal pairs are used in integration with utterance and discourse.
