IMPROVING THE SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES’ DEVELOPMENT POLICY IN BEN TRE PROVINCE

Abstract

Government policy and business environment greatly influence the innovation and development of enterprises. Ben Tre province, known as one of the provinces with favourable natural conditions, has got many investment preferential policies for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in recent years. However, there are many difficulties for SMEs, especially for creative startups in Ben Tre province, in terms of accessing to bank capital, attracting foreign investment  as well as taxation and financial procedure. Thus, the paper focus on analyzing above problems, then proposing solutions to improve the  development policies for the SMEs in accordance with their existing resources.
