Vietnamese, timber have really provided multifaceted values for the material and
spiritual life. The Feudal State of Vietnam knew how to make the most of this
resource, at the same time, created frameworks on how to manage and exploit
compatibly between the needs of daily life activities and the environment/landscape.
By logical interpretation based on matching relevant facts from the document, the
article proceeds to objectively reconstruct the internal picture of the timber resources
of Vietnam from 15th to 18th century, thereby showing a new approach in
multidimensional perception of medieval Vietnamese history.
