Abstract

This article analyses and evaluates the benefits and drawbacks of Nguyễn Dynasty kings' measures to battle local tyrants in villages, based on research, historical records, legal codes, and previous studies. The article pulls specific ideals from these historical lessons that can be passed down and encouraged in today's world.
